Joe Bill Thompson, MAI founded the firm in December, 2005, after serving as partner and vice president of Kennedy Holtkamp, Inc., for 15 years. Thompson Appraisal is an established real estate appraisal firm in NE Texas. Assignments have included real estate types ranging from rural farms and ranches, industrial, retail, offices, subdivision development, hotels, self-storage, apartments, special purpose properties and nursing homes. Our residential appraisal service area is limited primarily to Smith, Upshur, Rusk, Cherokee, Gregg, Anderson, Henderson, Wood, & Van Zandt Counties. The vast experience of Mr. Thompson allows Thompson Appraisal Service, Inc. to effectively provide reliable appraisal services for all commercial and rural property types in the NE Texas region and residential services in the Smith County market area. It is our goal to provide readable and reliable appraisal reports in a timely and convenient manner.
